I am more than willing to contribute to the OCF financially and just let me know how I can do so regularly. Payment by credit card is a good idea but I don't think it works with my cards issued in Hong Kong.I may consider mailing a check. What do you think?

Please read my earlier posting about volunteering to help raise funds for the foundation for 2006. I have 8 committed members that have ofered to participate. I need 50 total. All you have to do is get one $50.00 donation a month. This should not come from you. It should be from friends, co-workers, relatives and strangers. That is only 12 donations for the entire year. It sounds very attainable to me. Anyone interested in helping the foundation please contact me for the details. Danny Boy 920 766-9040, [email protected] or private message me. Lets join together to help give back to a foundation that has helped so many of us and will continue to help many others. Love Ya All, Danny Boy

You guys (especially Gary, Brian, Gail, & Cindy) keep me sane while my Mom is encountering this horrific disease. Count me in on the list for soliciting donations. I am a stay at home mom with young kids so our finances are generally tight but I would be happy to solicite donations for this cause. Most of my social group is also young families with limited income so I was thinking of solicitating businesses. Especially at the end of the year when people need write offs. I was even thinking of calling dentists out of the Rochester NY phone book. Hit them for a donation and send some info on awareness on this cancer to boot. Do you think that is a viable idea? Think about it, You have to raise only one donationa per month of $50.00!!! The money will allow the Oral Cancer Foundation to continue to get the word out and help so many people.

Coming from a dentist, I think it's a great idea to get the Oral Cancer Foundation information and early detection info out to your local dentists. There is a great booklet available from OCF that I keep at my reception desk. It tells about the foundation, the work it does, the history of it's origins and how to donate. They are free at the OCF online store.
