Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 4,918 Likes: 70 | We are thinking of walks where we can find someone who is willing to put in 6 months of hard work to bring an idea to reality. Doing an event, finding sponsors, getting the PR, ensuring a turnout.... and so much more, requires a dedication to purpose that is not for everyone. Since I have done these kinds of events for others in the past, I know the drill. But since I cannot be the prime mover in each of these, it takes someone to shoulder the burden and carry the water. I can only offer guidance and support from afar. Given this, locations are not in the purview of my decision making, but in that of a volunteers
