Hi, Danny and Minnie smile

I've just told Tom about the walk, and should all be well with him (and the business, which booms in the spring!), we will make the 4 hour trip south to join our friends. What a great way to meet some of you! smile I am very excited about it!
(I've never done anything like this.......anything special I should know about???)

Hello All,

Listed below are the members that have committed to attending Minnie's "Oral Cancer Foundation Walk" on April 9th in Virginia Beach.

1) #004 Brian & Ingrid Hill
2) #853 Danny Boy & Marcee Bogan
3) #1083 Carol L.
4) #1641 Bob & Laurie
5) #927 Larry & Kathy B.
6) #1192 Barb (bobbi131)
7) #1500 Nicki & Tom (?)
8) #161 Eileen & Charlie

Imagine Minnie asking a hayseed from Wisconsin to captin the team!!! I consider it an honer. Thank you Minnie!!

Will have a motel with rates posted soon. Want to be as close to the park we will be using as possible.
If you plan on attending please add to this post or email me to let me know. Hope to have the largest team at the event. Brian will be bringing T-shirts and caps.
Goal is to get as many people you know to donate so much per mile walked. I'm thinking of asking $5 for every mile walked from friends and individuals and $10 per mile from any business that will donate.
Thinking the average person could walk from 15 to 25 miles. Remember all the funds raised will go to the Oral cancer Foundation!!! About time I say!!!

Hope to receive alot more commitments for this event.

Love ya All, Danny Boy

Danny,
I so enjoyed talking to you last night.........sorry my cell phone died! I can't wait to meet you in person, Captain.
Count every member of my family in for being a part of the team..........we will each take turns doing a mile so that we split our time between helping run the event AND contributing to the mighty OCF walking machine!
I'm thrilled with how many are attending and hope more end up joining us.
I'm sending that list of motels to you tonight.
Love,
Minnie
