Well there you go! I just knew there would someplace be a benefit for having so many teeth extracted, and now I know I will not have reflection! laugh

update on wearing the trays.

i've been through 2 weeks of radiation, and haven't had any burning of the insides of my mouth. the doctors are really amazed at how i have avoided a sore mouth and throat because they increased the amount of radiation i'm getting. maybe there really is something to wearing the trays during the treatment after all.

i'll keep you guys updated as i go through the rest. 2 weeks left to go!!

Stage 3 oral cancer...over 60% of tongue and all lymph nodes on right side removed...July 2002.
Chemo and Radiation...ended September 2002.
