I had the same radiation techies as Sabrina and found them to be very skilled, compassionate and kind.
Towards the end of my treatment, when mucuous became an increasing concern, I explained to them that my time on the table was the only time during the day when I was fully horizontal and that I was worried about choking. We arranged a hand signal and if I raised my hand, they would rush in and get the mask off as quickly as possible. From the time I mentioned this, they were particularly attentive to getting my mask off as soon as my last field was done.
Only once did I raise my hand and they had the mask off almost immediately. I feel greatly indebted for the quality of treatment they provided. - Shel
