On Monday October 13, surgery for removal of the neck lymph nodes and a biopsy of the tonsil are scheduled. In the last two weeks my nausea issue has gotten worst. During treatment I was not bothered a great deal by nausea but now it | | |

My husband (stage III/IV SCC) had chemo/radiation back in September/October of 2002 and afterwards had been hospitalized for "radiation pneumonia"..and then even weeks after that, had several bouts of nausea and vomiting. The docs said that it was still the radiation's after-effects he was experiencing. Eventually, that subsided and he went for his modified rad. neck dissection on 2/6/03. Of course, the best thing to do is to talk to your doctor and let him know exactly ALL the things you are feeling...even things that you think may not be relevant to the cancer care you are receving, it's better to let the doctors know everything, and I'm sure they can help to alleviate your concerns on this. Take care and keep us posted on the latest.
