Thank you so much for taking the time to update us on Jack's condition, Carol. This is an example of the power of the Internet, and specifically of this forum, if anything is. Strangers, thousands of miles apart, convinced someone they don't know and will likely never meet, to get help for a problem he wasn't sure he had. I have worked with computers since they were monster machines in super cooled rooms, but I still get a thrill when something like this happens. Thanks again, Carol, for posting.

Well, we certainly can`t say we`re glad Jack has an infection, but it`s nice to know that we were right about it!And, even if we were wrong it would have at least eased your mind.I think how isolated we would all feel without this wonderful group of people we share this dreadful disease with...........Lets All Have A Happy Day......Packer

The web is indeed an amazing thing. A person from Kentucky has a question, which is answered by someone in Maine, and commented on by someone in Southern California, and then replied to by someone from Saskatchewan, Canada, that is added to by someone from the Northwestern part of the US, which stimulates a trip to the doctor in Kentucky, which catches and perhaps saves an infected graft, and stops the development of an infection that may cause something worse. All those involved are strangers to each other, and it all happened for free

Hats off to you Brian for having the caring dedication to make all of the above possible. I wonder if I could get successful networking like this on one of the online dating services!!
