Did any other old-timer like me realize that Mark is back? Brian, Gary and Mark posting in the same thread. How great is that!!!!

Welcome back Mark. Must be so cold up there in MN, that you are back at the computer. Hope you're doing well.

Mark has become quite the successful businessman, and while his heart's in the right place, (1200 information packed posts) you have to pay the rent first to be around to help others.

Gary has more businesses going than I can count, (FDA consulting and more) and he still finds time to do a night job in music. How he works service to others into a schedule like his boggles the mind... then I got to looking at the time stamp on most of his posts. The man doesn't sleep.

Me, I have a new laptop and wireless system in my home so here it is in the dark hours with small numbers - with the wife asleep next to me, typing away in bed. But while we are some of the old timers around here, I see Jerry is approaching 1000 posts, after a long days of drill, fill, and bill.... and those are not just the wish you well kinda posts, but solid Doctor based info. Dr. Mike, for his short time with us is now one of the many regulars.

At this time of thanks, and in the spirit of the season of goodwill, I wish to thank all of the posters that have chosen to say around after their own personal needs have been taken care of - to be in service to others. There is nothing more noble in my mind than to help ease the pain of another. You are all a group of extraordinary men and women.

Lolita - your post caught my eye because my son has also been having muscle spasms in his neck altho' they don't seem to be very severe. If you do a search (click on the "search" feature, top of this page) for "muscle spasms" you will see lots of good information on what others have done to get some relief. If you have additional questions, you could start your own topic so others can respond directly to your concerns. It's good you've been slowing down on the cigarettes. Maybe if you keep your fingers busy on this site, they will have less time to reach for the "cancer sticks".

I was taking systemic and localized medications for fungus/yeast infections in my mouth. But, the white spots would not go away! One day I went to my main oncologist and he said that the white spots looked more like radiation changes. So, the next time I went to my RO, I asked him to do a culture of my throat. Sure enough, it came back negative for yeast/fungus! I was taking all those medications for nothing. Moral of the story,,,have a culture done to make sure you do indeed have the fungus. Good luck to you!
