I haven't found anywhere else where I feel so 'at home', accepted and supported! When you are facing death, it's good to have people to talk to who are not necessarily 'very close'--you don't want to burden your nearest and dearest, but you need to know there are people 'out there' who care because they have had similar fears etc! Georgia, I just had my 'last-for-now' blood test--everything's fine, I'm now 'post-chemo' and into 'Review' phase. Right now, I feel like I'm 'Living with Cancer' and not 'Dying from Cancer' I feel fit and well and am enjoying every day I'm given! And Danny's right, us brit girls are strong!!!! Brenda

It was related to a pneumonia! But,had to wait and repeat, etc. COULD there be any chance the spots are something else? I would sure have another opinion..... You are young! FIGHT! My daughter is 31! Long story and long treatment......has just had total glossectomy w/ major neck dissection. Clear margins....now starting chemo and rad for perineural and perivascular invasion. But, for today cancer free! She has a 2 y/o daughter.... This is so awful for anyone, but so sad and unfair for you young people just starting your lives and with your babies. HATE IT! Don't settle with one opinion.....
Jordan's Mom. Linda She fought the fight with courage, hope and dedication. Ten months of battling tongue cancer. They thought they had it after each treatment. Not to be. Christa died at 32 y/o in Nov. '07.
