The National Cancer Institute (NCI) wants your opinion. The federal agency -- part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) -- is looking for people with recurrent cancer to participate in discussions about new educational materials related to recurrent cancer and to comment on draft materials. They'd like to get your opinion about these materials, based on your personal experience. To be eligible, you should not be a health professional or employed in a healthcare setting. For more information, please call toll-free at 1-888-249-0029. If you qualify for a particular study, NCI will contact you at a later date for scheduling. All participants in an interview will be paid for their time. Participating in a study will take no more than 1 hour of your time. Please mention that you come from the Oral Cancer Foundation if you choose to participate. I've offered our help to NCI in the past on paliative care issues, and we sent them so many leads that in 2 days they asked us to take down the 800 #.....that means you guys really pitch in and make things happen.
