I wish you could see how big my smile is right now. A little lopsided due to my surgery, but still huge! Hug the kids a little tighter tonight.

SCC Left Mandible. Jaw replaced with bone from leg. Neck disection, 37 radiation treatments. Recurrence 8-28-07, stage 2, tongue. One third of tongue removed 10-4-07. 5-23-08 chemo started for tumor behind swallowing passage, Our good friend and much loved OCF member Minnie has been lost to the disease (RIP 10-29-08). We will all miss her greatly.

SCC Stage IV right tonsil T3N3M0. Dx 08/03. Clinical Trial:8 weeks Taxol, Carboplatin then Hydrea, 5FU, IMRT x's 48, SND, Iressa x 2yrs. Now 20 years out and thriving. Dealing with a Prostate cancer diagnosis now. Add a Bladder cancer diagnosis to all the fun.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I never tire of hearing wonderful news.
Guess Don & I weren't the only ones that didn't really 'celebrate' our 10th anniversary, because of this disease. We are going out on Sunday to Celebrate big time....we'll try to follow in your lead. Happy Anniversary!!!!
