Hi Danny,
I grew up playing sports in the backyard with the boys rather then playing barbies inside with the girls. I played sports all through school and now coaching sports is my profession. I have lived my whole life feeling within myself or pulling out of a child that inner drive it takes to dig deep for that last remnant of strength and determination it takes to beat out one tough competitor. I see that drive within you and it's what will enable you to take control of this competition and play it how you want to, on your own turf. It's a home game and you have the hometeam advantage Danny....... You've got your own home crowd right here cheering for you so take advantage of us.
Love, Minnie

Hi Danny, hadn't heard from you for a while and wondered how you were doing, and what the progress on the sod laying progress is. Got to give you respect for taking on that project, there's a reason I live in an apartment block!!!

Just to let you know my thoughts are with you and really looking forward to seeing you in Vegas.

Bob

Dan,

Thanks for the update. I am glad that you have been well enough to get your landscaping done. I continue to pray for you and your family. Here's hoping for shrinking tumors!

Hi Danny Boy,
When Marcy was in palliative care her doctors and even a therapist that came in to see her didn't feel like she was dealing with her diagnosis.
Terminal..Marcy hung on to a miracle until the very end and we were doing herbal remedies everyday. She hung on to hope and they didn't feel she was dealing with it properly.
It was like they wanted her to yell out I'm dying, I'm dying. One day she told them that she was talking about her funeral, so then they felt she was doing better. There were so many uncompassionate people during Marcy's illness.
Unless you are the person living it you don't have a clue. Doctors see to much of it and it is just a normal day for them, that is how I felt.
I am praying for you, I hope that miserable tumor exploded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bless you and your beautiful family.
Love,
Michelle

hey Dan,

Harold was a fellow that i met in a cancer support group. He was an upbeat guy who did everything he could to stop his cancer. Early on he said that the docs told him that he would not be returning to work. i told Harold that i envision him back at work and could not accept that he had a terminal condition.

unfortunately the docs were right and Harold died several months later. before that, we had several discussions and a chance to smack some golf balls... Harolds favorite sport. i've had several other close friends die from cancer, and certainly we have seen it happen to folks we know thru OCF. cancer sucks.

docs cann't predict everything, yet i no longer go into a denial mode when someone tells me dire predictions. i accept what you are saying, yet hope and pray that for some reason it doesn't go as it might. you bring much to OCF and i'd like to read your posts for many more years...

today the grass is greener at your home!
cu,
larryb
