There are times that we are at a loss to comprehend the far reaching after effects of something like Lynn passing. I cannot even begin to comprehend what this will do to her children. My worst nightmare is for my children to be left motherless and here her tiny babies are just that. I wish I could be where they are and just hold them in my arms and tell them everything will be ok. I was thinking of Lynn yesterday, wondering how she was as I hadn't seen her post lately. I had no idea her time was so close. God Bless you Lynn and my prayers in church tomorrow will be for your two babies.
Minnie

I feel terrible about Lynn's passing. I really don't know what else to say. She was kind and thoughtful, and, for some reason, never got a respite from the cancer. Her treatments just never seemed to work. It is very sad.

This is such sad news -- she was a friend and a terrific inspiration to so many people here. I'll be praying for her family.

Thanks, Ed, for posting. I had been having computer problems and just got on and saw this post. How very sad. I, too, had gotton to know Lynn on a more personal level with personal posts. As a fellow believer who loved the Lord, Lynn gave me such peace on how she handled this horrible disease especially with having small children. I know she hurt knowing that she might not see them grow, and yet she was most positive that God was in control and has a plan...even if we don't understand His plan. I send up prayers for her husband and children during this very sad time. She was one of the most courageous people I have met who fought this disease with courage, dignity and grace. I didn't even know she was doing that bad...she hadn't mentioned it but I also hadn't had personal contact in the last month or so.

What a great example she has been to so many of us.
Thanks again, Ed, for sharing.
Debbie

I had posted this as part of a different thread. Perhaps it's more appropriate here:

I took the loss of Lynn pretty hard. She was my first "friend" on the forum. The first to reach out to me with a private note. We were both recent "graduates" of M. D. Anderson and had some of the same doctors. While I understand and respect her decision to deal with her recurrence her way..........damn it. Let's not mince words....I'm f$%^*&@ furious she's gone.

I, too, am shocked and saddened by this news. I just saw this string of posts today. Lynn was very brave and so strong. I had just emailed her two or three weeks ago and she responded with her usual faith and grace in spite of indicating she was in more pain than ever.

My heart goes out to her family. Rosie, my check in memory of Lynn is in the mail to OCF, too!

I'm pretty much at a loss for words at this point.

Praying for her family, but knowing she's up there looking out for them now.

We've been away from our computer for more of Jack's doctor appointments, not for cancer this time. I was so saddened to see the news about Lynn. She had so much great advise for us. Add our prayers for her family.
