Dont take this sort of negligence lying down for goodness sake.The more dentists who are negligent in their care and get away with it scott free the more people like your husband and unfortunately mine,there will be.We all have a duty of care,and i care very much that no person should ever have to suffer the pain and loss that my husband did,and my family and myself are still doing.

Husband Robin aged 44 years Dx 8th Dec 2006 poorly differentiated SCC tongue with met to neck T1N2cM0 Surgery and Radiation.Finished TX April 2007 Recurrence June/07 died July 29th/07.

He was given a 30% chance of survival. That statement scared the stuff out of me and I regretted ever asking the question!
That was nearly 5 years ago and he is doing great... he was back to work after 6 months and is now planning on returning to England to start a new career... he is a scouser. Just know there is lots of hope and the recovery rates are getting better all the time. Keep you chin up .. we will send out lots of positive vibes for you and your family.

South Louisiana - Cancerous growth removed from lip 10/07. Lesion removal & biopsy done 11/7/07 - no signs of cancer in area. PET scan done. No signs of cancer in Head & neck. Something in chest. CT to be done 12/20/07
