hello everyone.... I just wanted to add one thing. I've noticed that the gum pain isnt originating from the same spot as it was. It seems to be coming from a different tooth. or under a different tooth. Any ideas on what would indicate?

It's possible that you have an abscess if the pain seems to be coming from the bottom of the tooth. Your xrays of that area should be checked carefully and if needed ask the dentist to "pulp test" the teeth in the area.

I have been using peroxyll which contains hydrogen peroxide and it feel like its burning.... like it may be boiling infection out. But I noticed that right under my front 2 teeth looks very irritated and raw. I did have some fillings done on these teeth at the gum line a few weeks ago. But this isnt where my original pain was coming from and again I dipped on the other side. It HAS NOT been hurting in the same place. I have been under an extreme amount of stress lately. Not sure if that plays a factor. And if it was anything serious would the pain subside after brushing my teeth. As far as gingivitis is concerned my gums havent bled in a LONG time. But I take large amounts ofVitamin C so Im sure that helps keep them from bleeding. Anyone make sense of this?.

Robbie,

Hydrogen peroxide will NOT boil an infection out. The irritation of the gums, if related to the fillings, should be gone by now. You mention that your stress level is high right now. There is a condition called Acute Necrotizing Ulcerative Gingivitis (ANUG) which can many times be brought on by stress.

You have to realize, that even as a dentist, I can tell you what might be going on, but in order for you to find out for sure, you must be seen. With your new symptoms eg the raw gingiva, pain under the tooth, etc. you should make an appointment with your dentist.

After our phone conversation today, I believe that we've determined that oral cancer is not your issue. It is time for you to listen to the periodontist that you are seeing, consider thyat you have a benign case of periodontal disease, and accept that fact..... no longer looking under every stone for the worst possible opposing perspective. Remember that the simplest explanation is usually the correct one.
