Glenn,
I feel terrible about David's unfortunate passing as well as the travails that many others here have endured and are enduring at present.
In Ronnie's defense, I remember freaking out over the weekend that I waited for the results of my barium swallow to see if it looked like I had a tumor and perhaps cancer. Once Monday came and I was scoped and found out that I indeed had a large tumor in my throat, I was very calm.
For some reason the not knowing is the hardest part.

Ronnie,

Great news. Do not be ashamed and there is no reason to stop posting, certainly not on account of me. Just don't fall off the deep end again. You have had one positive result (no cancer) after another and just didn't seem to get it. You have been getting all good news here and were acting disappointed!

Oh, did you quit smoking yet?

Glenn

Yes I have quit smoking! lol... And again thanks for your reply Glenn it was the TRUTH, if I am a fool then hearing the truth would offend me. A wise man loves the truth. I'm not very wise at ALL but I'm trying smile I want to thank everyone here, and as I have said in the past..I swear to GOD that everyone here has truly renewed my belief that there are alot of people in the world that AREN'T shallow and superficial. I had become fairly jaded before all of this. There really are people out there that care about love, life, dignity and knowledge. When I meet you guys in heaven you will be far richer than I and I will be honoured to aknowledge your higher standing in heaven.

Ronnie, You are much wiser than you admit. You have been given a gift share that gift with others. I am happy for you.

Take care!

Hello Ronnie,

So glad to hear your good news!!! We win this battle more than most people think.

There is one thing you can do to help this great website. Sponser a walker for the Oral cancer Foundation walk on April 9th in Virginia Beach. I am receiving $5.00 per mile walked and hope to walk 10 miles.
Find one of Minnies posting's and email her for the details. She and Brian Hill are putting this together. Brian runs this website mostly out of pocket. Not many people have ever heard of oral cancer. The goal of this forum is
"EARLY DETECTION". The only way we can improve survival numbers is to educate people. Minnie's walk will help do that as well as help the Foundation. If you can't get through to Minnie you can email me and I will respond on how to donate. Thanks for listening and again thanks for sharing your good news.

You can go to the events page when you log on and get most of the details.

Best Wishes, Danny Boy

I'm happy to see your positive news Ronnie. Good that you have quit the smokes, you have obviously benefited from this unpleasant experience - I wish you love and light, Helen
