Just wanted to let everyone know that Mom has made her journey to Alabama and is currently staying with my older brother. I will try to keep her up to date on what is happening on the board, but she is about an hour away, so she will not have access to my computer everyday. Thanks, Chiara

I was a little concerned about her, especially her post, smashing things. I know we each do what we have to do to get through each day, but I don't know if I personally could break something that was apparently so special to my loved one. I guess in the end it is just a thing and she has all her wonderful memories that no one can take away. Anyway, tell her I send my love and hope she gets settled in quickly and is back here on the board soon too. LynnS

My father had that made for my grandmother 23 years ago as a Christmas present from me and my brother, and that was the only thing I wanted because it belongs to my family. If she smashed it, it was to hurt me and that is why she posted it in here, was to try and hurt me. Now she claims in an email she sent to me that she did not smash it but that she was going to give it to her grandson. So I really don't know if she smashed it or not, but if she did I would rather Charlie the bull dog be smashed then to be with her.

Chiara, Welcome and give hugs to your mom, her presence is missed.
Sincerely, Lisa
