Hi Cal- I am a tongue cancer survivor. I too had a horrendously painful earache and sore throat at my time of diagnosis last january.. The tongue has alot of nerves that connect to the ear and the tumor is just reeking havoc with all that./ I'm so happy this was caught early for you. Stay strong and have a positive outlook and all of this will be eaier to deal with whatever happens.

I unfortunately had to have all my tongue removed due to where it was in my tongue and how it was spreading - but I'm eating really great now and speaking OK and improving everyday.

Happy Thanksgiving! Praying for your healthy speedy recovery.

You are gonna beat this thing smile Miss Kate

Gee sorry to hear how much tongue you had to have removed Miss Kate. I fortunately only lost the front right quarter. It is great that you can now talk.
I am now waiting to hear the pathologist report and have to wait to hear from my Cancer Clinic to see about any further treatments if necessary.
It is good to hear from more people like you and Jeff about positive results with this type of cancer.
Thanks everyone.

Cal
