His doctor put him on a one week break and then back to the radiation. He had to have a 2nd break from radiation because the sores were so bad. He is now two weeks post treatment (30 TX) and just starting to be able to increase his food intake but he still has painful sores. Linda, I was so glad to see your post about the DGL. I'm going to get some to see if it helps my son. He is not getting the required 2000 calories but he is improving which is so encouraging!
