It's been a while since I've been on the board, but I just want to check back in, update my profile, and catch up. I’m now 18 years out from my original diagnosis of tongue cancer, so for those of you new folks, keep your chin up and your eyes on the finish line!
Also, I am now a two-timer. Just finished 34 IMRT treatments for prostate cancer. All I can say is what a difference 18 years has made in technology. No skin burning and very little pain. I had several gentlemen in the treatment waiting room with me that were current oral cancer patients and I was also amazed at their symptoms as well. Yes, some skin breakdown and pain, but nothing like what I remember from when they “threw the book” at me, and most folks here at that time.
Haven’t had time to go through the posts yet, but I did see a few “old timers”.
I’ll check back later.

I also don't visit here much anymore since I'm just recently 15 years out. And like you I have prostate cancer, but mine is still thankfully Gleason 3+3, so no treatment yet.
And yeah - where are Christine and Brian?
