His tongue hurts, has terrible mucous, and is still just drinking 3 shakes a day. Is it normal for this to be going on for such a long time? How long did it take you to heal? He just wants to feel better and get off the pain meds. He feels like he is going to feel like this forever! Thanks! | | | | | Joined: Jun 2019 Posts: 244 Likes: 2 "OCF across the pond" Gold Member (200+ posts) | | "OCF across the pond" Gold Member (200+ posts) Joined: Jun 2019 Posts: 244 Likes: 2 | Everyone heals at a different rate depending on age, health, dosage of rads etc. For me, I came off the pain meds 7 weeks after completing rads, but my ulcers didn't heal until 5 months after I finished rads.
