Thanks to all of you for your words of hope and encouragement! I will be leaving tomorrow for London to check in for surgury. I will keep you all posted on my progress when I get home. Your prayes and best wishes are greatly appreciated!!! I say lets go get the Beast out of me once and for all !!!!

All I would like to add is that you have decided to put up a fight against the cancer. Once you have accepted the illnes as the clock cannot be reversed it will be win win situation for you.

Ananth - survior of the cancer of he larynx - 47 years young!Diagnosed in the final stage (4) - refused surgery for removal of my voice box and was declared cancer free in January 2004. However side effects of an overdose of riation persists -leading to the closing of my food passage. Have been on peg feed for well over four years now - but lead a very normal life.
