Joined: May 2013 Posts: 134 | The weight loss snowball can get so much momentum it's very hard to stop. My redline was 35 lbs and i lost that plus 10 more during the week of hell. I needed a new mask at the 6 week mark (out of 8). My original was loose enough that they had a hard time lining up the IMRT.

Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 126 | i found cream of wheat with lots of butter was a non-offensive food to eat. Also, soft scrambled eggs with no salt didn't bother me too much. if you can, supplement your meals with ensure. i didn't lose much weight until i finished treatment. during treatment i was supplementing meals with ensure, but once i finished and my taste buds started coming back i couldn't bring myself to drink the ensure (I really hated it).
