#18247 07-19-2005 05:30 AM | Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9 Member | Member Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9 | Dear robyntc, my heart goes out to you, being the support person for the elderly is very hard. your grandmother could be dragging her feet about seeing the doctors and trying diffrent foods. she might be feeling that she is loosing control of her life. although my grandmothers problem wasnt cancer. she wouldnt go out and do what she is able to do now. does your grandmother attend church, maybe someone from the church can speak with her, or have a social worker come to the house.. if that is posible. I was very surprized when I contacted the social services at her hospitl. good luck with the support group and that someone takes care of you.. | | |
