Hi all. smile So - I still have no feeling on the left side of my tongue where the cancer was removed but I have always had feeling on the tip of my tongue. Over the last couple weeks a razor blade feeling, like that of during radiation, has started only on the tip. No matter how or where I move it, whatever I eat or drink I can feel it. I don't know if it's nerves or what? But it's starting to become frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this around this timeframe post radiation?

T3 N1 M0 SCC Dx 11-10-11
11-23-11 Left Hemiglossectomy
11-30-11 Modified Radical Neck Dissection
01-25-12 Removed another spot on BOT, skin graft (left thigh)
38 RADS Tx Finished April 13, 2012
Fall 2014 - HBOT due to wisdom teeth extraction post radiation

I have not experienced razor type pain, but I have experienced tingling on my tongue. My ENT said it was the nerves trying to regenerate and mature.
