Hi Cheryl, I will make a call to our surgeon tomorrow because to get some pain medication. I am also looking forward to our follow up on Thursday, having the surgeon look at my husband and see the changes will give him the confidence to get through the last week before surgery.

I see you are a veteran in this forum, tell me, when you had irritation in 2004 and inflammation in 2008 were those initial cancer related diagnosis? Did you catch it early?
