The first one on the list was "Throat Cancer and HPV " and of course they mentioned Michael Douglas. Not a lot of detail on it, but at least the word is getting out.http://healthyliving.msn.com/health-wellness/10-cancers-fueled-by-viruses#1 Susan

We have a vaccine approved for both males and females that has shown nearly a 100% success rate in preventing future infections of HPV , therefore preventing the cancers that infection could have caused. It wouldn't take long to rid the world of all these HPV cancers if 100% of both sexes got the 3 shots. David

April 2006: Husband dx by dentist with leukoplakia on tongue. Oral surgeon's biopsy 4/28/06: Moderate dysplasia; pathology report warned of possible "skip effect." ENT's excisional biopsy (got it all) 5/31/06: SCC in situ/small bit superficially invasive. Early detection saves lives.

Sometimes the drive to publish, get grants, and so much more generates this drivel. Brian, stage 4 oral cancer survivor. OCF Founder and Director.
