When my mother was in final stages of ovarian cancer we used Vioxx and Celebrex to reduce the blood supply to the tumors and it stopped the progression quickly and sustained it. Unfortunately it was too little...too late. We stopped 4 large brain mets that they expected would kill her within weeks. 9 months later she passed from stomach acid eating through the esophagus and aorta after her G-J tube came out and she didn't want it replaced.
