I will pass on to you what I was told; If your the patient that is on the successful side your percentage is 100%.
I had an initial "When pressed" percentage that was much lower than yours. I now have two clear PET scans that say it was worth doing.

Like Kelly211, my percentage of success given me was much lower than what you have been told. I had to really really press them to give me their estimate as they felt it was too depressing and I might not opt for treatment. Instead the visuals show it seems to have worked. I get my MRI on Jan 13th with results in and explained by the RO on the Jan 18th. Plus Kelly211 ia right; all survival/recovery statistics are for groups, not individuals. For an individual there are only two statistics: 100% and zero. It either works or it doesn't. My odds of survival were slim and I had my 2 children to worry about. My decision was not easy to make. I almost decided to not try at all and almost quit before I gave it a shot. I learned a lesson from this. You cant quit before you at least try if not you will fail anyway.
Please give it a shot and you may be one who years later looks back and tells people you were one who beat the odds.
