Just a thought from another caregiver. Please be aware that when you are sleep deprived and very tired, you will probably be at your lowest emotionally. I found that late at night, everything seemed to be a mountain and the negative thoughts would creep in and take over.
In the morning, if I had a decent night's sleep, I would be able to face and defeat the dragons of the day without so much worry and dark feelings.
With this in mind, please take care of yourself. Try to get a nap in or take a few hours away from your caregiver role. And for sure, go to bed at night and sleep..however you can accomplish this!
Hugs, Deb
