Find a studio go for an hour and a half. Make that your time. It will help still your mind, and also help your own health. I too find activity helps when I am stressed. I want to do something about it. But you have to find that place where you can say at this point I've done what I can. I totally hear you though. This is a difficult journey. particularly because you've walked this path too many times before. Hugs.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the trip to see my daughters and grandchildren did a world of good. It made me remember that there is life going on outside the world of cancer. Reggie and I had a wonderful 3 days with all and were glad to get back home for some peace and quiet. The grandkids were full of energy and wore us both out. We slept in til 8:00 this morning. It gave me a new perspective and hopefully I can get packed and ready to go by next weekend. We now have to arrive in the city on Monday as Reg has sopme last minute pre-operative tests to take. Thank you all listening and posting to my silly out of control self.

I'm not an old hand at this - my husband has not yet finished his first treatment, but my friends have reminded me to take just today, and not take in yesterday or tomorrow. I have to remind myself often, but this really helped. I have cried, and talked to people and that makes it a bit better also.

Thanks for the thoughtfulness. I realized today that there is only one week until we leave for the surgery. So now my mind is occupied with what must be packed and errands and bills that need to be taken of before we leave a week from tomorrow. My oldest daughter came over and we discussed the plan for the day of surgery. All of a sudden I'm feeling very focused and realize there is not much time to do what needs to be done. So the lists that my husband was fretting over last week have now come in handy and I pulled the suitcase out this afternoon. Bought Christmas cards today that I will send from the hospital. I'm finally getting a grip and moving along. I think it has to do with now we are on schedule and that helps.
Thank you all. Sorry for being such a wimp for the last couple of weeks. I'm good. :-)

If one of the Administrators could combine all my threads that would be appreciated.
