Several survivors were present including Pandora (Donna), Bethany, Beth, and myself. Laura and her team did an awesome job, with a great turnout. The park was cold but a beautiful place to hold the event. There were a couple suspicious mouth sores found at todays screenings. I made sure that OCF's forum cards were available to those patients. They dont need to feel alone when OCF is available to help by giving correct up to date medical info and support.

Laura Cook and her team of dental professionals did a fabulous job organizing this event which is a 5K fun walk/run. It was a brisk October Minnesota morning as we walked around beautiful Lake Nokomis.
And.....I GOT TO MEET CHRISTINE!!! After having "known" her virtually for years, it was wonderful to see this woman in person and hear her wonderful speech at the walk!! All of OCF should be very proud of her.
There were four oral cancer survivors there - three of which were OCF Forum members - Christine, Bethany Johnson from Minnesota and me.
Team Canada did not win the fundraising award - but we were happy with being in the top three.
Thanks to everyone that make this a great weekend for us.
