Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 118 | I think it is in your best interest to get to CCC. I wish my husband had gone the first time. I really don't think that our local docs here have any clue about this particular cancer. He goes to UCSF (San Francisco) now and the docs, nurses, etc. are all specifically trained in head and neck cancer and that's what you want.
