Sherrie, if what I have written earlier on made you or the original posters cringed, I feel very sorry about it. This has never been my intention to make anybody uneasy or feel unwelcomed. I am always a very straightforward person and your message has taught me not to respond without second thoughts and to learn to be more sensible in my tone. Thanks for your information. I am truly grateful. I have already told him about this site and have encouraged him to come in and look around. Thanks for the sloan kettering info. I'm going up on to NJ end of the month and I'll try to get an appointment for him. Also, thanks so much for the words of hope and the other cancer website. Again, helpful. I must say I was feeling so blue this past weekend worrying about what I was going to do if the cancer had infact recurred. Move to NJ, quit my job etc. All of which were not on the HAPPY LIST! However, just reading your comments help.

Oh and Jbentonwolfe I am not upset by your insertion into the thread. All posters about such insertion are correct - but no offense was taken. It does take time to get aquainted with each websites posting procedures. Best of luck to your mother.
