First, a thank you to all well wishers for their prayers. I join them in prayers for all others as well.

my dear one who was operated upon for cancer in 2009 and subsequently suffered a great deal due to post operative negligence & lack of guided treatments, developed very strong Trismus and his mouth began to close and by 2011 december, it had closed completely, and he could have only liquid diet.

we were fortunate to be refered to Dr. Moni Abraham Kuriakose at the Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bengaluru, India.
A word of praise for this wonderful doctor. He patiently heard us and offered us a solution. A flap would be introduced on the inside of the cheek which would aid opening of mouth.

this done, though there are new issues of re-learning to use the tongue (which is now half its size, due to the hemiglossectomy which was done as part of 1st surgery, swallowing liquids (yes, he is still on liquids..but now with a known hope of being able to have solid food in about 3 months)

I pray that all members here meet their angel doctor and that their pain is taken away and they have renewed hope for a better life.
