Hope rads are going well for you ken and Sam Ken I got the Manuka from my local health food shop but you can get it lots of places but try and get the +16 type. Radiotherapy isn't fun but you will get through it . I thought the mouth sores would be bad but it really wasn't just a few weeks were uncomfortable. You will feel tired and fed up but you will get through it and be strong again Hugs Jayne

I have started on caphasol as well. So now i am alternating between mugard and caphasol. I would say mugard works for sure. I see some small sores coming up and than they disappear.

Towards the end of treatment ( week 5 and 6), i did develop mouth sores but my doc said they were much lesser than most patients. She also now recommends mugard. I used caphasol and mugard together.
I would recommed using both from the start of the treatment if your insurace covers it. You could also contact the manufacturer and they will cover in the case your insurance does not.
I am 9 weekx post treatment now and doing very well, can eat most foods. Sam
