The drugs my clever rheumatologist prescribed have done the trick, and I am mostly back to myself. In retrospect, it seems that I was doing doing my care giving to my husband through at least one earlier lupus flare, so I guess I'm stronger that I was giving myself credit for. Anyway, the symptom of join pain is gone, and the fatigue and depression are mostly gone. Trimmed my hair back to get rid of the scraggly lupus hair look.
My husbard was a wonderful care giver to me when I was doing poorly! I am glad he can cook. BTW, his last ENT visit was good; his next one is early next year. His physical strength and endurance are both much improved, and his ability to eat and taste are both getting better.
