Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 8 | Kim, let me correct what Connie wrote.... YOUR biopsy would not be done to your tongue. Her biopsy was on her tongue since thats where she had the problem. Yours would be of the spots where your mouth is showing irritation. It is correct that its not a big deal. I would rather have a biopsy done while awake without any numbing at all. Its one minute of a tiny pain but then its over, no big deal. Not a big enough deal to get put to sleep or all numbed up for.
