I'm just glad to know how long he survived even after you stopped treatment. It would never be enough time and at this point we have not chosen to ask the doctor about statistics or time frames. We're not ready for that information. Still hoping to see shrinkage or see it stopped dead in it's tracks. Andy has no pain at all which is quite unusual for metastasis to the bone. His oncologist finds that encouraging so we're hanging on to hope.

2/2011 surgery/rnd/ imrt rad/ 3 cycles cisplatin
6/2011 recurrence - mets to bone
7/2011 tx carbo/erbitux/5 FU- pet showed disease progression
11/2011- present clinical trial

Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 26 | Paula, glad you had some time together even without treatment and I hope you are surviving after losing him to this horrible disease. I don't know how I will survive without my husband. Gonna keep him as long as I can. It won't be long enough.
