It's a very long story, but I will hopefully summerize it for you. My story is one of faith, love, the will to live, and the patience to let that happen and still go on with living my life. At 22 years old I was diagnoised with cancer of the sinus cavity and every 2 years after that I was back for more surgery. I had 2 secondary tumors from the original sinus, one to my nasopharnyx and another to my cribraform plate. My tumor or cancer is a very rare one, and there do not seem to be many survivors (at least as long as I have stayed around). I am now a 55 year old nanna of Olivia and Camron. I am a full time student and I love my life. Every day I put my feet on the floor is one hellava good day. I hopefully will come here often and maybe answer some questions if I can about surviving and why I think I lived so long, all of my doctors seem to think that my survival is most unusal... actually I think its all about the will and having a good reason to live. God Bless you all
Every day the first one in the rest of our lives begins without any mistakes in it

Every one of us needs to hear your story and others like it. Sometimes we get bogged down with bad news and fear and lots of other negative things and thinking. It is like a breath of fresh air to hear about your long, long survival. Thank you so very much for posting. You are living proof that we are NOT statistics. Please come back often. Joanna

I hope and pray everyone who is going through this kind of illness, and to all who knows someone going through cancer - will find strength and inspiration as they go through their own battle. Thanks for giving hope and reminding us all that life is precious and to enjoy every day to it's fullest!

It is good to hear of such a positive. I am going into 6 months post treatment and still my tests are coming up negative. It is good to hear that spirit can account for so much. Again thanks, it really helped today was not a real good day.
