Joined: May 2007 Posts: 622 Likes: 1 | Key changes: The term "broad spectrum" is finally going to mean something: that a sunscreen provides a minimum level of UVA protection. A sunscreen must undergo both an SPF test and a UVA test, if a company wants to use "broad spectrum" to characterize its UVA protection. The FDA is putting a stop to the use of "waterproof", "sweatproof", and "sunblock", too.
