Please advice how to select a good physio therapist. I mean what questions to ask or how do we get know if the PT has done work on patients who have had radiation. As we are adviced to look for a PT. All the places we went to none of them had experience dealing with such cases.
Kindly advice what should I ask in order to proceed.
Thanks
Roma

I answered this for you in another posting in this forum, but I'll repeat it. Physio is physio. You want a good physio therapist, but they dont particularly have to be experienced with radiation/ chemo patients. They study the muscles of the body, they know how to work towards getting a body back to where it was before surgery etc. Tell them what his mobility issues are - they will design a plan.
Good luck.
