I found that Oxycodone/Percocet, while a lifesaver, tended to keep me awake. Have you discussed a Fentanyl patch with your docs? It might give you more regulated relief from the pain. You might also try Ambien or another sleep aid.
Losing 12 pounds is terrible. I think we probably all drop weight during treatment (I lost 30 total). Please try and bulk up on the liquid calories! I lived on Boost/Ensure and their generic clones for more than 6 months so it certainly can be done.
