Back from the biopsy a while ago and with around 4 stitches am feeling OK even though local anaesthetic has now worn off.
Just a little sore and swollen and had some soup for lunch and will have the rest for dinner but will be OK tomorrow for special diet lunch tomorrow with 3 work colleagues for International Womens Day wink
Now the wait begins.
My next appointment at the Cancer Clinic is the 25th and I will try not too stress while waiting.
Cheers
Gabriele

Gabe, I wish you all the very best!!! Im nervously waiting right along with you. Glad you have the biopsy over with. They must have taken quite a bit to have 4 stitches to close your wound. One good thing is that the mouth heals quickly.

Go celebrate tomorrow!!! Have a second helping for me, go girls!!!! Wish we got to celebrate that here. I havent heard of it before.

Try to keep yourself busy so your mind is taken off the long wait. I will pray that everything comes back ok. ((HUGS))

Just rang the Oral Surgeon for the biopsy result and he told me ..."good news - no cancer" smile
It does however show chronic infection which we will discuss at my visit on the 25th March.
I don't know if you can get a feel for these things but both are what I pretty much expected.
