Atleast I hope that is what it is. Both the needle biopsy and MRI were inconclusive so the surgery will tell the tale. With all this talk of recurrence, it kinda scares a gal! Adele,  mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the submandibular gland, 05/06,  left neck dissection, gland and tumor removed, intermediate grade, margins negative, 9 lymph nodes negative, no rad, no chemo,  11/07 surgical biopsy of lymph node left neck, no cancer!

Brenda in UK--Diagnosis 30/5/07--undifferentiated carcinoma in right jawbone and muscles. Stage 4  6/7/07--new diagnosis primary is in lung. Finished 4cycles of palliative carboplatin/gemcitabine        therapy September 07 Now dying to live!

I am worried about lymphoma, that seems to be the name of the game...worry! I am hoping for the best. Trying now to recover from having this scar reopended. Adele
