Clark had his post op this morning. The drain was removed and the surgeon is pleased with the results. Clark has a lot of swelling so it is hard for him to see a big difference. It will take about 2 months for the swelling to go down. By then, the surgeon will re-evaluate to see if he needs a bit more work.

Aaaahhh, we can relax now....

Anita,

I'm glad the surgery went well and the results were great!

Im sure it is difficult for Clark to see the improvement. After my reconstructive surgery in October, everyone kept telling me how much better it looked but I couldnt see it. Even if its a huge difference, its hard to see it. The swelling will go down and hopefully Clark will be satisfied with the results. Im glad to hear the doc said that more could be done later. It sounds like this is an excellent doctor. Did the doc mention doing liposuction? Thats what my plastic surgeon suggested to me since I dont want any more big surgeries.

Congrats to Clark!!! Im sure he will notice a difference very soon.

I think liposuction is a real possibility. Thanks for your thoughts. I know he will feel reassured when I tell him about your experience. It is hard for him to see a difference. He is actually more swollen now than right after surgery. The surgeon said it is all normal and that it takes time.
