I must be missing somthing , as I am not sure what is going on .. However that you mention lymph node and ultrasound I can think that there is cause for concern and I am glad that you are taking steps to take care of and look inot this !! I hope all goes well for you !
You know all to well ..if it is anything the importance of early detection !! My heart is with you Liz ..today and always !! You have been a great source of comfort and strength ,even in your own time of need..you are an amzing woman

1)Ultrasound was considered urgent so has to be done in what they call the 2 week rule(new government guidlines)The MRI will be done as a regular appointment and they havent sent one yet.
2)I am ok
3)No i havent told the kids and i am not going to!!!

Tx 6/18 - 8/3/07, IMRT x 33 Cisplatin x3 (stopped after 1st dose due to hearing issues). Weekly Erbitux started 6/27/07 completed 8/6/07.

I am now up to date ..And I even looked up Harridan!! I understand your fear and concern, But there is one thing you said that I MOST DEF have to disagree with .....you had said that you weren't a strong person. From the outside looking in , you are a woman of amazing strength and courage and I know maybe it didn't seem it to you , But I see ( and I am sure others do too) an Amazinly strong woman !
I can beleive as well that you want no more bad news this year ..I know myself I am ready for the year to be OVER ..Wanna hear somthing Funny .(strange funny ) I don't nessacarilly beleive in Horoscopes , but I read them and sometimes relate.
Well I read My chinese Horoscope for the "year" ( i am a pig) and it said right in that horoscope for the year that my health would not be good !! Weird huh . I read it about a month ago. SO I am def ready for the NEW YEAR !!!

One of the things i love about this site is the international flavour that the differences between our two countries language brings .
Helen and Brenda who are from the UK knew straight away what i meant by "harridan" .
In the UK it is used in converstaion usually to describe a nagging and controlling wife or a really scary woman (like a doctors receptionist) who gives you a tongue lashing when you ask if you can see the doctor straight away.
It has taken me months to get used to the idiosyncrasies of American speak and just as i think i have it licked someone throws a curve ball and i am back to square one lol
BBQ in England means cooking outside on charcoal,and it amused me to read in the post it was brought up on that even within America it had different meanings.
I suppose it is equivilant to our regional accents and variations in the language.
Anyway to my favourite Harridans who have been nagging me for the last ten days thanks for the concern and caring enough to give me a hard time.
