Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | It is possible to be seen within the same week here in the US. Ive even been seen the same day a couple times. These were practices of specialists where I was a new patient too. When you call for a second opinion let them know that you have had cancer twice already and need to be seen immediately. If they give you an appointment that is a long wait, speak up and ask for something right away or if they can squeeze you in if there is a cancelation. The worst they can say is no. Best wishes.

April 2010 -reconstructive surgery of left mandible with flap from scapula; radiation
Oct. 2010- tumour in area of the connection between the flap and the bone
