All of my Dear OCF family,

This morning at 1:00AM, my Dear Father lost his heroic battle with cancer. He passed away very peacefully with my entire family there with him.

As so many before him, he fought the battle with dignity, courage and determination. I am so proud of him, and so thankful that I am his son. He gave me everything, and through his wisdom, love and example made me the man that I am today.

I write this with tears in my eyes: tears of sorrow, to be sure...also tears of pride, of love, and of a deep, enduring admiration for the Man, all he did, and all that he taught me.

Our world is dimmed by his passing, but will be forever enriched through his presence.

So Long for now, Dad. We'll all be along to see you again...
Wayne

Wayne,

What a precious gift to be with your Dad when he died. What a precious gift to have a Dad like him and to know that he loved you so much and you him.

Your post the other day about him lifting you when you could not and now you were doing the same for him, was so precious to me...it exemplified what families are all about.

I know you will miss him but I also know that you are relieved that he is free from all his earthly limitations.

My thoughts are with you as you walk thru this storm...

Deb

My thoughts are with you, I know how difficult this is for you. ( Its been 3mths since my Brian went to heaven) You know, through this whole battle with this evil cancer I have learned so much about my husband how courageos our loved ones are. And we learn so much about ourselves through the journey and how precious we are to each other, so out of all this heartache and suffering there is good and a light that shines on.
Keep the Faith
