A Cancer Center might help you work out a payment plan or you might be eligible for some kind of health coverage like Medicaid.
As far as your husband saying it's not cancer is he a Doctor?

This guy should be reported to the medical board. If this has had a chance to proser into something more dangerous and more difficult to treat, then you have course for legal remedy. That will pay for your treatments..... Find a good lawyer and have him call me.

As a caregiver in the beginning I to didn't realize or seem to believe my sister had cancer. She looked fine how could that be? Reality hit big after surgery. Everyone deals with it differently. How fast is impossible to say as oral cancer affects so many parts of the mouth and grows at different rates in different people. You are in a tough situatio with no insurance and no cancer centre in your area but I am sure your regular doctor will be help you manage this. Have you been to the oral surgeon yet? What did he or she say?

Where is the Oral Cancer in your mouth, tongue, cheek, throat, where is it located?
Cancer Centers will work with you they have social workers who will help you. You might be qualified for Medicaid.
I hope you get your appointment ASAP this is a very aggressive cancer.
Connie
